I’ve been suffering with SI joint pain for sometime now, with numbness and pain in my leg (for 6 weeks). I had X-rays and an MRI which didn’t reveal anything more than slight swelling in my SI joints. My orthopedic doctor gave me some medicine to reduce the swelling and prescribed physical therapy.
Therapy isn’t helping much, nor did the medicine. I have another appointment with my ortho. doctor who I suspect will be recommending injections to reduce swelling/pain.
So with all that being said, I’m about ready to give up on traditional medicine…and try something else or just suck it up and hope it gets better.
Anyone had similar experiences or any suggestions?
my mother in law has been diagnosed of cervical cancer stage II. what alternative medicine can she take?

she doesn’t want to undergo chemotherapy & radiation therapy. can somebody give me other alternative or herbal medicine for her. thank you

I will be going to a pyschologist that practices alternative medicine. Will this be similar to a regular psychologist? For example, I will sit there and talk to ther person. Or will it be really weird different methods?
Why are so many people duped by Alternative ‘Medicine’, when most of it has been scientifically disproved?

There is not a shred of evidence to prove that most alternative ‘medicine’ has any value beyond the placebo effect. Only about 5 percent of alternative medicine is backed by evidence, with the remainder being either insufficiently studied or backed by evidence showing lack of efficacy. Source: ‘Trick or Treatment? I have had tendinitis in both knees for over a year and medical doctors have been no help.

Looking to enter into the alternative medical field and would like to do an apprenticeship. I don’t have experience or a degree in a related field, but thought doing an apprenticeship would be a good way to get into the field. Thoughts on this?
